Maldives National University (MNU) has announced availability of 5,480 spots for its January intake.
Announcing the opening of application for January intake in a press conference this Tuesday, Registrar of MNU, Dr. Saudulla Ali said that there were 5,480 spots available from 96 courses ranging from foundation courses to Masters.
Most number of spots are available from its Bachelor’s Degree programs.
1,560 spots from 31 Bachelor’s Degree programs are available for January intake.
There are 989 spots available from 14 of its foundation courses, and 837 spots available from its 16 courses.
There are also 426 spots available from 11 of its Master’s Degree courses.
Dr. Saudhulla said that courses would be available from its main campus in Male’, other campuses in atolls, as well as outreach centers.
There are 3,095 spots available from Male’, 565 spots available from H. Dh. Campus, 265 spots available from L. Campus, 415 spots available from G. Dh. Campus, 661 spots available from S. Campus, and 385 spots from outreach centers.
Most of the courses are available from its Center for Open Learning. There are 1,030 spots available from that faculty.
720 of the spots are available from Business School, 655 spots from Faculty of Education, and 650 spots from Foundation Studies.
Dr. Saudhulla said that no new courses are being offered for the January semester, but that the university was discussing starting a Bachelor’s Degree course in Science and a Master’s
Degree in Islamic Education.
MNU said that application would be opened on October 23 and end on December 29.
Spots will be awarded on first come first served basis.
