Ministry of Economic Development has announced that Minister of Commerce of Thailand, Apiradi Tantraporn, along with a delegation of 30 Thai businessmen involved in export would be arriving in Maldives within this week.
Minister Apiradi Tantraporn will arrive in Maldives coming Wednesday, October 12.
Ministry of Economic Development reported that the delegation of Thai businessmen would engage in talks with Maldivian business in a conference which will be held at Dhoshimeynaa Maalam of Dharubaaruge on Thursday, October 13.
The conference will be held from 10 am to 12 pm and from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
Thai businessmen will be exhibiting the products they export – ranging from furniture to jewelry, food, spa equipment to hotel supplies.
Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Adam Thaufeeq said this Monday that the government hoped to facilities strong ties between the businessmen from Thailand and Maldives.
“We want there to be good ties between Maldivian businessmen and Thailand and Thai businessmen. Major Thai manufacturing companies will be a part of the delegation, and we announce that all businessmen will have the opportunity to meet them,” said Thaufeeq.
