Dhiraagu introduces special plans for teachers

Telecom company, Dhiraagu has introduced special plans to teachers on occasion of Teachers’ Day, which is being celebrated this Wednesday.

During the press conference held to launch the special plans, Dhiraagu said that teachers who purchase their postpaid mobile plans would be provided a 50 percent discount for the next three months.

The company said that teachers who already used their postpaid mobile plans would also be provided a 50 percent discount for the next three months upon request.

“You need to fill up an application form. When the seal of the school the teacher works at is stamped, we will be able to verify that it’s a teacher,” said Marketing Communications and

Public Relations Manager of Dhiraagu, Mohamed Mirshan Hassan.

In addition to discount on postpaid mobile packages, Dhiraagu is also providing a 50 percent discount for the next three months on their broadband postpaid plans.

Teachers who apply for broadband postpaid plans for the first time will also be given a mifi device free of charge.

Dhiraagu has also launched new broadband plans for teachers. They are:

• 10 GB for a monthly fee of MVR 499

• 20 GB for a monthly fee of MVR 699

The 50 percent discount for three months is also applicable for the new plans.

Dhiraagu said that the special plans will be available from all of its branches across the country.

Application will be open until November.
