UPU Conference begins in Turkey

The Universal Postal Union (UPU) conference held every four years is underway in Turkey with 192 countries.

Representing the Maldives is the Chairman of the Maldives Post Limited, Khaalid Abdhulla and the Managing Director, Ahmed Shafeeg along with the CEO of the Communications Authority, Ilyas Ahmed.

The conference is set to decide on the 2020 Strategic Plan which includes the development goals of the postal service.

Changes are also expected to be made to the administration of the Organization.
