MET: Good weather expected in Maldives for Eid

Maldives Meteorological Service has said that clear weather is expected across the country for the year’s Eid celebrations tomorrow.

Previously, the MET Office estimated rain for this Eid similar to the past year.

But an Official from the MET Office told Sun Media today that the weather is currently expected to be clear across the country. The official said that if at all, minimal showers would affect the clear weather tomorrow.

The Official said that seas are expected to be moderately calm in the southern atolls and moderately rough in the rest of the country.

A number of activities are being planned across the country for the Eid celebrations tomorrow.
