Dr. Muizzu: Opposition has people that would stab each other

Minister of Housing and Infrastructure, Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has said that the heads of the opposition against the government are people who could stab each other in the neck tomorrow and they are not people who wish well to the country.

Speaking on TVM’s “Raajje Miadhu” (Maldives Today) Program tonight, Dr. Muizzu said that the public has not accepted the efforts that have been put in by the opposition leaders who staying abroad. He said that every Maldivian has to say yes to the government’s efforts to develop the country.

Minister Muizzu said that the opposition leaders are currently in a “marriage of convenience” and could stab each other at any moment.

Dr. Muizzu said that looking at the past, there are reasons for not believing in the words of the opposition leaders and listening to them is destroying the future with our own hands.

The Housing Minister said that spreading false rumors and tales in the society does not affect the government alone. But the whole country is affected by it.

Minister Muizzu said that even if some groups are working to bring a stop to the developmental projects of the government, the government is stronger than that.
