Glonet Education Fair begins with 18 colleges

The Glonet Education Fair, hosted twice a year, has started with 18 colleges.

The 19th Glonet Education Fair was opened by the Finance Minister, Ahmed Munawar. The fair would be held today and tomorrow at the National Art Gallery.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minister Munawar said that the government would always open doors to education for the youth. And he said that the fair opened today is a good opportunity for the youth.

Minister Munawar said that only by developing a good youth generation can be the government can take the country where it wants to and indicated to Singapore as an example of a country with numerous resources and productivity labor.

Most of the universities taking part in the fair opened today are from Malaysia. The only two local colleges are Cyrax College and Higher Education.

The first Glonet fair was held in 2005.
