3 minors charged in Irushan’s murder

Three minors have been charged in the murder of Ahmed Irushan Hilmy on June 3, stabbed to death in plain sight.

The 14-year-old from Ranfaru in K. Kaashidhoo was stabbed after a disagreement between two groups took a violent turn.

He was stabbed on Friday evening on the main road dividing the capital, Male’.

An official from Juvenile Court who spoke to “Sun” said that the case was sent to the court by Prosecutor General’s Office on August 18.

The defendants are boys the age of 14 years, 15 years and 16 years.
