Police destroys seized alcohol

Maldives Police Service has destroyed a number of alcohol bottles seized in relation to different crimes.

Police said that alcohol seized from 92 different cases and 10 different incidents were destroyed on 13 August.

And so 386 bottles of various brands of alcohol were destroyed by the Police along with 140 beer cans, three jerry cans of alcohol and 310 other related items.

Police said that they were destroyed under the supervision of the relevant committee.
