Fire burns down PPM’s Vilufushi campaign hall

A fire has burned down at the PPM campaign hall in Thaa Atoll Vilufushi.

President of the Vilufushi Island Council, Ibrahim Shaafiu told Sun Media today that an area of 1000 square feet was burned down in the fire incident that took place around 8:30 p.m. tonight.

The outer wall along with all the goods inside was burned down in the fire according to the Island Council but no one was injured in the fire.

The cause of the fire is unclear at this time and the Police is investigating further.
