CSC to begin audit of HR departments tomorrow

Civil Service Commission (CSC) has decided to begin the audit of the Human Resource departments of all the government institutes requested by the President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, tomorrow, to improve the standard of service of the CSC institutes.

A statement issued by the CSC today said that the CSC would be visiting the institutes under them to begin an audit of the Human Resources departments in an effort to improve the standard of service of the CSC and recognize the state of the HR departments and the capability of the employees.

The CSC said that the audit would show which type of training and minimum required teaching is needed at the Civil Service Training Institute and help bring strategic changes.

Speaking at the presentation of the Civil Service Commission - Annual Report 2015, in April, the President of CSC, Dr. Ali Shameem said that such an audit is important to reduce cost and improve services.

Dr. Shameem said that Supervisors would be stationed at all institutes to oversee the capability of the employees and the level of implementation of the regulations.
