National Airline, Maldivian, has made a decision to include a business listings section for small and mid-level businesses on the airline’s in-flight magazine, Maldivian Holidays.
Maldivian Holidays began publishing late last year and is set to be published three times a year.
Head of the magazine, Mohamed Rizvee told Sun Media tonight that the decision to introduce the business listings on Maldivian Holidays magazine was made because the readership of the magazine has increased and some businesses want to advertise through the magazine.
“As listings this would be done: With details such as Company Name, Address and Contact Details.” Rizvee said.
The magazine Maldivian Holidays is published to the National Airline by MV Hotels.

He said that most of such advertising are done by resorts but the magazine would be allocate the listings to local guesthouses and restaurants.
As preparations are being made to launch the third issue of Maldivian Holidays in late August, Director of MV Hotels, Areef said that businesses would have the opportunity to join the business listings on the magazine until the end of July.
Director of MV Hotels, Mohamed Areef said that no less than 15 businesses would be listed on the magazine on every issue.
