6 parties apply to provide motorcycle taxi services

Six parties applied to provide motorcycle taxi services in Male’ by the end of deadline.

Ministry of Economic Affairs reported that 12 parties cleared information from them regarding the motorcycle taxi service, and that six parties sent in bids by the end of deadline on Wednesday.

An official from Ministry of Economic Affairs said that they would give priority to parties that offer to provide the service safely and conveniently, using the latest technology.

He said that the bids would be evaluated, and at least two parties selected to provide the service.

Government plans to expand the service to the entire country.
