2 arrested from Guraidhoo in connection with Janavary Magu attack

Police have arrested two men wanted in connection with the recent physical assault case in Janavary Magu, hiding in Th. Guraidhoo.

Police reported that the two 20-year-old men were arrested with a warrant from a house in Guraidhoo on Tuesday.

Their remand has been set for 15 days by Th. Veymandoo Court.

The two men are suspected of participating in the physical assault of a man with sharp weapons in the evening of June 14, near Sonee Sports, Janavary Magu.

A 19-year-old was hurt in the incident.

“Sun” has been informed that he was stabbed in his head and stomach.

His condition has been reported as stable now.
