Small fire grew because extinguisher low on foam

A fire incident took place at a residential apartment at SHE Building. When the fire started at the three-room apartment where six people were living, three women were at the apartment sleeping.

A woman from that apartment said that they slept after turning off the stove but an elderly woman at the house was later active in the kitchen.

“Woke up to the smell of burning rubber, fire was on the stove.” A person from the house said.

When the people at the house woke up, the stove was on fire. To extinguish the fire, the fire extinguisher was put to use but it ran out before the fire was doused.

“To the middle of the bottle foam was. Then it ran out. Then had to use water.” The person said.

Looking at the person’s tale, the small fire on the stove turned into a large incident due to the lack of foam in the fire extinguisher.

Carelessness on fire safety is a reason for major fire incidents including a lack of preparation for such an incident.

Major fire incidents at houses are mostly due to the lack of fire fighting tools at the houses. And so the advice for such residences is to acquire fire safety tools.
