PPM calls to oppositions to be responsible and stop activities from abroad

Ruling Party PPM has called to the opposition leaders to immediately stop the political activities being organized from abroad and be responsible.

A statement was issued by the party today after the opposition leaders met in London and inaugurated a new coalition with the former Vice President Dr. Mohamed Jameel Ahmed in charge.

The PPM statement said that the activities of the opposition coalition with foreign aid against the interest of the Maldives are unacceptable for PPM. And it said that the party is concerned that the opposition is working in such a way that is harmful to the people.

PPM also said that they would welcome opposition activities within the accords of democracy with the interest of the nation being the priority.

But any activity to achieve personal grievances of certain people is against the spirit of democracy and so PPM called the oppositions to be more responsible and return to the country.
