First F&B festival starts in Maldives with 20 stalls

The first Food and Beverage festival in Maldives started on Thursday at National Art Gallery with 20 stalls.

The F&B festival was inaugurated by Minister of Home Affairs, Umar Naseer.

Total 20 parties involved in the food and beverage business participated in the event – organized by High Rise.

General Manager of High Rise, Habeeba Hussein (Haby) spoke to “Sun” and said that there was no entrance fee for the event, and that people had the opportunity to attend the festival and sample products.

She said that a lucky draw would be taken every night the event is held, at 10:30 pm.

“The main purpose of holding the event, in reality, is because we use multiple F&B products every day in our daily life. This show will therefor provide the opportunity for all businesses involved in F&B products can meet under one roof, and for people to sample the products more conveniently,” said Haby.

The festival will be held from May 2 to May 4.

The festival will be held until 11 pm on May 2, from 4 pm to 11 pm on May 3, and from 2 pm to 6 pm and 8 pm to 12 am on May 4.
