MIFCO takes part in the OIC Trade Fair for the first time

Maldives Industrial Fisheries Corporation (MIFCO) has taken part in the ongoing Trade Fair by the Organization of Islamic Corporation (OIC) at Saudi Arabia.

The company said that this was the first time they have taken part and exhibited their products at the OIC Trade Fair.

The OIC Trade Fair began in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia yesterday. The fair would be held through to Thursday.

MIFCO said that this was a great opportunity for the Maldives to enter the market of Islamic Countries. And said that the having the “Halaal” certificate on the MIFCO products since 2014 would be an added ease to enter the Saudi market.
