Mihin Lanka cuts down ticket prices by 50 percent

Low-budget Sri Lankan government airline – Mihin Lanka – has cut down tickets prices for travel between Colombo and Maldives as part of their Ramadan promotion.

Mihin Lanka said that a return ticket between Sri Lanka and Maldives would cost USD 107 for Maldivians and USD 120 for foreigners during the promotion.

Baggage allowance allowed by Mihin Lanka – which is notoriously small with 20 kilo allowed for economy-class passengers and 30 kilo for business-class passengers has been increased to 30 kilo for economy-class passengers and 40 kilo for business-class passengers as part of the promotion.

The airline said that passengers traveling together with one to seven other people would be eligible for the promo.

The tickets will be sold from May 15 to May 19. And can be used from May 15 to June 30.

Mihin Lanka has flights between Colombo and Maldives on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
