New director appointed to Dhiraagu

A new director has been appointed to telecommunication company – Dhiraagu – board of directors.

Dhiraagu announced that they appointed Raid Abdulla Fakhry from Bahrain on May 9.

Fakhry will replace former director Abdul Razzaq al-Qasim – who had been serving the board since April, 2013.

Fakhry is also serves on the board of Bahrain Telecommunications Company (Batelco) – the majority shareholder of Dhiraagu.

Batelco owns 52 percent of Dhiraagu shares.

Fakhry has over 20 years of experience in business development and investment banking, and served as senior manager of business development until of Batelco for nine years.
