Mifco reduces diesel prices for fishermen

Mifco has said they they would dropping the price of diesel they sell to fishermen starting tomorrow.

A statement issued by the company today said that a decision had been made to reduce prices for diesel oil to fishing boats that regularly sell fish to Mifco.

The price would be dropped to MVR 7.30 per liter starting tomorrow as opposed to the earlier price of MVR 10.50. according to the Mifco statement.

The company said that the price drop is being made with the help of STO to support and encourage fishermen at this time of low fishing.

And hope that the change in the fuel price would be beneficial to the fishermen.
