Imjad said that an installment plan was introduced because not all of their customers can afford a single payment for the phone.

Customers going for the installment plan will have a one year period to complete the payment. Every Dhiraagu number can order one phone.

Dhiraagu said that the phones would be launched in the Maldives in sync with the global launch and would work to deliver the phones to all of the preorder phones on the same day.

The S7 series is scheduled to launch in the Maldives on 18 March.
The new Samsung S7 series has longer battery life and are waterproof. While the two phones can charge wirelessly, important notification, time and date would be visible on the phone display without having to turn the device on.
Dhiraagu also introduced the iPhone 6 and 6S to the Maldives on the same day as their global launch for the first time in the company’s history.
The National Distributer of Samsung to the Maldives is Hike Maldives. The preorders opened by Hike expired yesterday.
