Rafiyyaa: Women’s rights aren’t received, must stand and speak for it

Deputy Leader of MDA, Aishath Rafiyyaa has said that rights of women are not handed by someone but is gained by stand up and speak for it.

In a statement issued on the occasion of this year’s Women’s Day, Rafiyyaa said that everyone must work not to betray the girl children and work to provide a good education to them. And has to work tirelessly to raise them as courageous women.

She said that every Maldivian woman has to gain strength to be courageous to speak up in the community.

The MDA Deputy Leader sent the commemorations of the day to the First Lady, Fathimath Ibrahim, the women of MDA and all the women of the Maldives.
