MIRA branch opens in Fonadhoo

A branch of the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) has been opened in L. Fonadhoo.

The MIRA office in the grounds of the L. Atoll Council was opened today at a special ceremony by the Finance Minister, Abdulla Jihad.

MIRA said that all the services available at the Malé Office would be available in Fonadhoo as well.

MIRA has previously opened offices at Gn. Fuvahmulah and H.Dh. Kulhudhuffushi and has established collection centers at F. Nilandhoo, L. Fonadhoo, and B. Eydhafushi.

The services by MIRA have been expanding with priority to the zones with high populations of tax payers.
