JSC votes to transfer Judge Abdulla to Family Court

Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has voted to transfer Chief Justice of Criminal Court, Judge Abdulla Mohamed to Family Court.

JSC said that the move to transfer Judge Abdulla to Family Court was suggested by Supreme Court. And that Judge Abdulla would have to start working at Family Court starting from February 21.

The move was voted on by during JSC meeting held at 8:30 pm on Sunday.

Supreme Court has not specified a reason for the decision.
