Maldives Hajj Corporation has opened opportunity for pilgrims to perform umrah, visit religiously significant historic sites in Arabic Peninsular and visit the three holy sites.
An official from Hajj Corporation spoke to “Sun” on Sunday and said that it was a 20-day trip.
According to the plan, pilgrims will be first taken to Jordon for two days, Palestine for three days with opportunity to perform Friday prayer at Masjid Al-Aqsa, Egypt for seven days, and Mecca for seven days and then Medina for two days.
The official said that the trip was planned so that pilgrims will be able to perform Friday prayers in the three holy sites – Masjid Al-Haram, Masjid Al-Nabavee and Masjid Al-Aqsa.
The fee for the trip is MVR 45,965 – and that includes two-way tickets, food and accommodation.
The deadline to register and make payment for the trip is March 15, 2016.
