Muhuthaz went to Maamigili to prepare the court order

The points on the court order to arrest the former Prosecutor General (PG) Muhuthaz Muhusin says that he went to A. Dh. Maamigili on Sunday to prepare the false court order to arrest the President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.

These points were put on the court order issued tonight by the High Court after the release former PG from the Criminal Court following his arrest was appealed by the state.

The points made on the court order were made by the Judges after reviewing the arguments of the two sides at the appeal hearing.

According to the points on the court order, the former PG Muhuthaz went to Maamigili around 12:45 a.m. on Sunday night, allied with a Magistrate, opened the Magistrate Court and worked to get a court order to arrest President Abdulla Yameen and depose the government.

High Court’s court order tonight said that it is essential to detain the former PG since he is a risk public safety and security. And if not detained, he might influence witnesses and try to destroy evidence.

The points noted by the judges say that falsifying a court order to arrest the President and obstructing the Constitutional duty of the President is dangerous to the independence of the Maldivian state.

And goes on to say that such action could compromise the safety and security of the society and obstruct the procedural system of the state.
