Former PG Muhuthaz released

Former Prosecutor General Muhuthaz Muhsin was released from police custody when he was taken to Criminal Court for his remand hearing on Monday.

Muhuthaz, who also served as a judge in Criminal Court was arrested Sunday night for investigation on the bogus court order for President Abdulla Yameen’s arrest.

Police have said that A. Dh. Maamingili Magistrate Court judge, Ahmed Nihan from G. A. had also been arrested in relation to the case.

The case is still under investigation by police.
