Dhiraagu introduces free mobile packages to the people of Thinadhoo

Telecommunication Service in Maldives, Dhiraagu has introduced free mobile call packages to the people of G. Dh. Thinadhoo who recently lost their powerhouse in a fire.

The special packages introduced by Dhiraagu include 500 minutes of free talk time and 1 GB free data valid for one week.

Manager of Public Relations at Dhiraagu, Imjaad Jaleel told Sun Media today that the special packages is free aid provided by Dhiraagu in these difficult times to the people of Thinadhoo to make necessary contact.

Imjaad said that Dhiraagu has established a special operations center on the island and is currently providing assistance nonstop to the people of the island.

“We have already established a way to, whenever the people of Thinadhoo want they can charge their mobile phones. And also we’re working on providing special lamps, water and other items for the houses.” Imjaad said.

Dhiraagu has also donated a 75 kilo watt electricity generator to resume electricity service on the island.

The company has also provided free internet at the Health Center to the journalists of several Medias in the country at Thinadhoo covering the state of the island.
