Nihan: Condition is good, will return to Maldives when fully healed

Leader of the PPM Parliamentary Group, Ahmed Nihan Hussain Manik, currently seeking medical care at the Apollo Hospital in Chennai, India, has said that he would be returning to the Maldives when he is fully healed.

Nihan, also the MP for the Vili-Malé constituency posted on Facebook today that he would be returning to the country soon.

“…with God’s will, with the prayers of all of you, in good health and soon in good condition I shall return to the country.” MP Nihan said at the end of a long statement on Facebook.

His Facebook statement said that his condition began to improve once he started treatment at the Apollo Hospital.

He thanked those who assisted him when he fell sick. And at the top of long list of gratitude were the leaders of the ruling party PPM followed by his constituency and fellow MPs of PPM. MP Nihan also thanked the journalists for bring the news of his condition to the people.

The Leader of the PPM Parliamentary Group was taken to the ICU of ADK Hospital two weeks ago on 15 January following a sudden illness. He was left for India seeking further treatment last Tuesday.
