Alifushi boat crashes on reef, three brought to Mal

R. Alifushi boat “Foresee” has crashed on a reef last night.

Sources say that the incident was reported to MNDF around 2:14 a.m.

Information Officer of MNDF, Major Adnaan Mohamed told Sun Media today that there were 72 people on board the vessel.

He said that the boat crashed on the reef near Ziyaaraifushi.

Major Adnaan Ali said that no one was injured in the incident and that all are in good condition. Sources say that they were brought to Malé City this morning around 5:11 a.m.

Major Adnaan said that they boat has now been saved from the reef from the efforts that began last night.
