Centara Resort employee found dead

An 18-year-old man working at Centara Grand Island Resort and Spa in Alifu Dhaalu Atoll has been found dead.

Police said the death was reported at around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

He was taken to Maamigili Health Centre where doctors said he had died before arriving at the centre.

Both police and doctors have confirmed there are no external injuries.

The body will be taken to Malé tonight for the investigation.
