The price of jet fuel sold at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA) has been reduced again.
General Manager of Fuel Services at INIA, Mohamed Niyaz told Sun Media that starting today, a liter of jet fuel for international flights would be sold for USD 0.67 or MVR 10.33 making it MVR 0.55 cheaper than before.
Niyaz said that price of jet fuel for domestic flights have been reduced from USD 0.67 or MVR 10.33 to USD 0.64 or MVR 9.88 hence, MVR 0.45 cheaper.
A circular issued by the Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) said that the jet fuel is being sold at these prices for those who pay immediately, before the plane leaves.
MACL has reduced the price of jet fuel by 21.17 percent since the beginning of this year.
