The Criminal Court has established a bench of three Judges to preside over the case of the former Vice President Ahmed Adheeb who has been charged with terrorism for possessing a firearm.
Media Official of the Criminal Court said that the Judges bench for Adheeb’s case was established this week.
The judges on the bench for the case are Judge Saeed Ibrahim, Judge Muhuthaaz Fahumee and Judge Ahmed Rasheed.
Adheeb was charged with terrorism for possessing a firearm.
Police have previously said that a number people who were questioned in the investigation said that the former Vice President does possess a handgun.
Former Vice President Adheeb was charged with terrorism in relation to Article 2-D Anti-Terrorism Law of 1990 under Article 6-B.
If he is convicted, Adheeb would face a jail time of 10-15 years.
