MP for Nolhivaramu constituency signs to MDA

MP for the Nolhivaramu constituency, Hussain Areef has signed to the Government coalition’s MDA.

With MP Areef signing to MDA, the party now has six members in the Parliament.

Speaking at the signing ceremony held that MDA Office today, MP Areef said that he signed to MDA because the leader of the party, Ahmed Siyam Mohamed seem to possess unshakeable determination.

MP Areef said that today is a very good day for the Nolhivaramu constituency because today is a day that most agreements are signed.

He also said that there are a number of projects allocated for the Nolhivarumu constituency in the budget of 2016.

While MP Areef, who got elected on the JP ticket, signed to MDA, he was an independent candidate. Areef has previously signed to the ruling party PPM as well. Since he left PPM, he has been an independent MP until today.
