Maldivian dies while diving

A Maldivian man has died while diving near Alifu Dhaalu Kudarah reef.

The deceased has been named as Ahmed Nawas, 30.

Ali Shameem, director of Alifu Dhaalu Dhigurah Council told Sun Media that Nawas’s body arrived at the island health centre at 8:30 a.m. Monday.

No details were available at the time of publication. Police said the incident has not yet been reported.
