Air Asia resumes flights to Maldives

Budget Airline, Air Asia has resumed flights to the Maldives.

The first in the series of flights from Kuala Lampur, Malaysia to Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA) landed in the Maldives on Thursday.

The company has decided to hold flights between the Maldives and Malaysia three days a week.

Air Asia X cancelled their flights to the Maldives in March 2014 after it began late in 2013 claiming that they were operating on a loss with the lack of support from the Maldives to the Airline.
