Shaah dismissed from AFC Match Commissioner

Deputy to the Youth Minister, Shaah Ismail has been dismissed from his position as a Match Commissioner for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).

Sources say that Shaah was dismissed with allegation of influencing the FAM election as the Deputy Youth Minister.

The Youth Ministry ordered the FAM to postpone their election on Sunday.

While FAM has been ordered to postpone their election, AFC said that FAM is being run under FIFA and AFC and they would not accept anyone interfering with them.

Talking to Sun Media about the Youth Ministry’s order to delay the FAM election, Youth Minister, Ahmed Zuhoor said that there are a lot of suspicions of corruption against FAM and it is the Ministry’s responsibility to investigate them.

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) issued a report after an investigation saying that there are no cases of corruption against FAM.
