Police question MMPRC staff

Police have started questioning the staff of Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC).

This has been confirmed to Sun Media by the police spokesperson. He did not provide details.

Sun Media understands police have been searching MMPRC premises since Friday in relation to a case involving a large sum of money.

Managing Director of MMPRC Abdulla Ziyath has been summoned to the police headquarters on several occasions for questioning.

Police have also searched Ziyath’s residence.
