Qasim: We cannot win against the Government

Leader of Jumhooree Party, Qasim Ibrahim has said that no one can win working against the Government.

Speaking about the Presidential Launch explosion on VTV’s Fasmanzaru program, Qasim said that the negative impact on the economy and social sector for bringing someone or group to power after assassinating the President is unimaginable and no one can win working against the Government.

“Working against the Government today no one can gain success. We would be more weaken and hurt. Our country may weaken to the point where the child in the hospital cannot get an injection he needs.” Qasim said.

To prevent further incidents like that, those responsible must be brought to justice, says Qasim and no matter who it is, they have to be arrested.

He said tonight that safety is through the institutes working under the leaders within the law and he is ready to support President Yamin’s work.

“From the bottom of my heart, sincerely, I am fully supporting today’s Government.” Qasim said.

The Jumhooree Party Leader said that he is ready to do everything he can for President Yamin on behalf of himself, family and all those who listen to him.

He also said that investors would come to the country with safety established and so we have to prove that there is safety and security in the country.

Speaking on the program, the Minister of Finance and Treasury, Abdulla Jihad said that it is yet unclear the impact this incident has had on the economy but it will impact on some level. And so we have to take some steps thinking ahead.
