MET: A Rainy week ahead

Low pressure is going to try to influence conditions, and will bring some heavy rain, in the coming week, says The National Meteorological Centre (MET Office).

MET Office says that this is a trough moving from the Arabian Sea. And MET Office has asked to watch for the weather in these days. It is also possible to experience rough sea and heavy wind due to these changes, says MET Office.

MET says raining will occur especially in the south and central region; however it will affect the northern atolls too, and in the coming 24 hours central and southern atolls will experience heavy rain with thunder. MET believes that this rain would last for a week.
