Executive Consultant at the Youth Ministry, Mohamed Shiyam (Thema Shiyam) and the Executive Coordinator at the Ministry and local movie star, Abdulla Muaz (Mua) have been dismissed.

They were working at the National Center for the Arts (NCA) under the Youth Minster. It is yet unclear the cause of their dismissal.

Thema Shiyam confirmed to Sun Media that he has been dismissed but said that he has not been formally notified.

Also a Board Member at MPL, Shiyam said that rumors of his dismissal from the board are false.

The Government has also made changes to the MPL by assigning Mohamed Juaid as the CEO of the company and the former CEO Mahudhee Imad being moved to the position of Deputy CEO.
