A woman and child falls into the elevator shaft: Child in serious condition

An eight month baby and a woman have been injured after falling into the elevator shaft at a house. The Child sustained serious injuries in the incident.

Police Media Official told Sun Media today that around 12:38 p.m. today, a 56-year-old woman and an eight month year old baby fell into the elevator shaft at H. Fennaage and was reported to the Police.

The Official said that both the woman and the baby are being treated at ADK Hospital. And he said that it was difficult to say the extent of the injuries at this time.

Managing Director of ADK Hospital Ahmed Afaal told Sun Media that the child is in serious condition and is being treated at the ICU. Afaal said that the child sustained serious head injuries.

“The woman is not that serious. But she also sustained some injury. I haven’t got the details of her injury yet.” Afaal said.

It is yet unclear how close the child and the women are at this time.
