Discussion held on the role of Police and the MNDF in protecting state property

Heads of the Police and the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has conducted a discussion on their roles in protecting property of the people and state in Malé and the atolls and assuring the security of the people.

The Police have said that strengthening the joint operations with MNDF on guaranteeing protection and security of the people in the atolls and in Malé along with the protection of the people’s and the state property were discussed at the meeting held at the MNDF headquarters today.

At the meeting where the Defence Minister, Moosa Ali Jaleel was the chair, Chief of Defence Force, Major General Ahmed Shiyam and the Commissioner of Police, Hussain Waheed along with the Chief of Defence Force, Brigadier General Ahmed Shaahid took part in the discussion.
