Addu accident victim arrives in Mal

The 20-year-old man injured in an accident in Addu City on Tuesday evening has been taken to Malé for further treatment.

Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) spokesperson Zeenath Ali Habeeb said that he arrived at the hospital at 8:20 a.m.

She did not have any details regarding his condition.

An official of Addu Hospital told Sun Online that he was bleeding heavily from the ear, and likely sustained internal injuries.

The accident took place near Kohere Café on Link Road.

The second person, aged 21, escaped with minor injuries. He has been admitted at Hithadhoo Regional Hospital for observation for 24 hours.
