Spokesperson: Committee established to prevent incidents like yesterday

The Spokesperson of the President’s Office, Ibrahim Muaz Ali has said that the President Abdulla Yamin Abdul Gayoom has established a committee to prevent incidents like the explosion on the Presidential launch yesterday.

Spokesperson Muaz Ali said that the President has assigned the Vice Chief of Defense Force, Brigadier General Ahmed Shaahid, Colonel Abdul Rauf, Captain Ali Ihsaan, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mohamed Jamsheed, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Abdulla Navaaz and the Chief Station Inspector, Mohamed Saamih.

Colonel Abdul Rauf is also the Head of Intelligence at MNDF and the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mohamed Jamsheed is the Head of the Police Intelligence.
