Assistant AG, wife given five-day house arrest

Assistant Attorney General Ismail Visham and his wife Hana Waheed have been placed under house arrest for five days by Criminal Court.

Hana is a public prosecutor at the Prosecutor General’s Office.

Police said a couple was arrested with drugs and alcohol following a search operation at M. Honey Dew at 11:30 p.m. on Monday, 28 September 2015.

Names have not been disclosed by the police, but sources have told Sun Online that the arrestees were Visham and Hana.
