MET Office: Islands between R. Atoll and G.Dh. Atoll will have bad weather

National Meteorological Center has said that bad weather is expected for the islands between R. Atoll and G.Dh. Atoll.

A White Alert from the MET Office today said that heavy rains with strong winds are expected in the islands from R. Atoll to G.Dh. Atoll until 2:30 p.m. this afternoon with winds up to 40 miles an hour during showers.

There have been a number of incidents at sea due to bad weather. The MET Office along with the Police and MNDF has advised to take caution to the weather when travelling.
