Finance Ministry has extended the duration to submit bids for the construction of the 25 floor office building.
A statement from the Ministry on Thursday said that the bid submissions for the development of a 25 floor office complex on the 32,500 square feet land South of the Finance Ministry, has been extended to Monday, 29 September.
The duration was previously set to expire at 2 p.m. this Monday.
The Ministry has not mentioned as to why the duration to submit bids for the project was extended. But when the Eid holidays were extended, the due date fell on a public holiday.
Finance Ministry said that they opened the bid applications as per the terms of reference to all parties.
“Interested parties are to submit information to prove their capacity to work (i.e. previous project details, work experience, background and other information).” The statement from the Finance Ministry said.
