Ooredoo launches Smart Ideas for Women challenge

Ooredoo has launched a program that allows people to submit ideas on using technology to make the world better for women and girls.

The person who submits the winning idea will receive a grant worth MVR 50,000 to help them bring their idea to life.

The challenge is introduced by Ooredoo in collaboration with Women On Board.

Speaking at a press conference today, COO of Women On Board Aishath Rafiyya said that technology has opened up new opportunities for women, and Ooredoo’s service would help Maldivian women of various expertise connect with people abroad.

Ideas can be submitted before 28 September 2015 via Ooredoo website.
